Notice of Annual Meeting and Board Meeting
Wednesday, June 1st at 2:00 p.m.

The WTIC Annual Meeting includes a look at the associations’ tourism industry related activities from the past year and outlines planned projects for the coming year. Participants from across Wyoming report on the state of tourism in their area. New board members are elected for three-year terms and following the Annual Meeting current board members hold a brief meeting, which all are welcome to attend.  According to the by-laws, board members must represent an organization or corporation and have a letter from the Chair or President of the organization nominating them. If you are not on the board, and wish to be nominated, please email Chris Brown at chris@wyotravel.org or send nomination letters to PO Box 1003, Cheyenne, Wyoming, 82003.  Please watch in the coming weeks for the meeting agenda and call in information.

Plan to Attend the WLRA PAC Event June 7, 2016

The outcome of the 2016 election plays a significant role in the level of support our industry receives when critical legislative decisions are made throughout the year. The WLRA has a Political Action Committee that contributes to pro-hospitality candidates each election cycle. The Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association will be hosting a PAC fundraiser on Thursday, June 7, 2016 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the FireRock Steakhouse located at 6100 East 2nd Street, Casper, WY 82609.  Read More »

Women of Influence Nominations are Now Open

If you know a woman who is making a positive difference in your community and who you think should be recognized for that contribution, now is your chance to nominate her for the Wyoming Women of Influence awards. The fourth annual WWOI awards are now open for nominations in 10 categories: Lifetime Achievement, Banking and Finance, Business and Business Services, Education, Government, Military and Law, Energy and Utilities, Hospitality, Future Leader, Manufacturing and Technology and Nonprofit.  Read More »

Wyoming Tourism & Hospitality Fall Summit

The 2016 Wyoming Hospitality and Tourism Fall Summit will be held at the beautiful Jackson Lake Lodge from September 21-22, 2016! WOT Unveils New Website, TravelWyoming.com

The Wyoming Office of Tourism (WOT) is excited to officially announce the launch of the new consumer website, TravelWyoming.com. The new website will gradually replace WyomingTourism.org as the two sites will work in parallel until sometime in June when the transfer of content to the new site will be completed.  Read More »

National Parks Boost Wyoming Economy $1.1B

Chamber of Commerce Award Winners Named

Chamber of commerce staffers and board members from Jackson, Rock Springs, Saratoga and Lusk were the big winners at last month’s Wyoming State Chamber of Commerce annual awards banquet in Rawlins. The award for Chamber Director of the Year went to Jeff Golightly of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce. It was presented by the 2015 winner, Dawn Darby of the Evanston Chamber of Commerce.  Read More »
