Bowling For Our Future Workforce!

At the conclusion of this year’s Fall Hospitality and Tourism Summit we will host a fun filled evening of bowling and camaraderie while raising funds for the WLRA Education Foundation.The foundation supports Pro Start, a nationally recognized culinary and hospitality management program, taught to nearly 1000 students in 25 high schools across Wyoming.  This event is a pure blast and one that you will not want to miss!  When signing up for the Fall Summit please make sure to register for an evening of bowling that will benefit our future workforce!

Renee Penton-Jones wins Women of Influence Hospitality Award

Renee Penton-Jones, General Manager of the Ramkota Hotel in Casper, won the hospitality award at this year’s “Women of Influence” awards banquet. The award comes as no surprise to those that know Penton-Jones as she is heavily involved in promoting and protecting Wyoming’s hospitality and tourism industry at both the local and statewide level.

Final Alternative Funding/Statewide Lodging Tax Webinar –December 11, 2018

For more than two years the boards of directors from the Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association, the Wyoming Travel Industry Coalition and the Wyoming Tourism Board have worked to find an alternative and more competitive funding source to grow the visitor economy and to get the Wyoming Office of Tourism off of the state’s general fund.

Beautiful Weather Prevails at 9th Annual WLRA Golf Tournament

Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association held their 9th annual golf tournament at the Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club on September 14, 2018. This year's event featured beautiful weather and was attended by a record 95 golfers.  Proceeds from the tournament are split between the WLRA and the WLRA Education Foundation.
