Celebrate Wyoming's Second-Largest Industry

Join travel, tourism and hospitality partners across Wyoming and the United States as we celebrate the power of travel during National Travel and Tourism Week, May 7 - 13, 2017. Preliminary stats from 2016 show that Wyoming welcomed more than 8.6 million overnight visitors who spent more than $3 billion dollars. Plus, the state's tourism industry supports more than 31,500 full and part-time jobs, making up 13 percent of the Wyoming workforce. Here are ways you can get involved and join your Wyoming travel and tourism partners in championing our industry: write an op-ed to your paper about what tourism means to your community or meet with your local legislators and let them know the power and impact travel has in your area. You can also join the conversation on social media by tagging your tweets and Instagram posts with #NTTW17.
