WLRA Members Honored at First Annual “Women of Influence” Awards.

Earlier this month the Wyoming Business Report hosted the first annual “Women of Influence” awards at the Little America Hotel and Resort in Cheyenne. Members that were nominated for the hospitality category included Judy Blair, Blair Hotels, VP Marketing and Sales, Christine Hill, Timberline Hospitalities LLC, Director of Revenue, Amber Munoz-Duran, Wind River Hotel & Casino, Hotel Manager and Angela Ver Ploeg, Hilton Garden Inn, Director of Sales and Marketing.
As well, long time Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association and Wyoming Travel Industry Coalition Executive Director Lynn Birleffi was nominated for the “lifetime achievement” award.

Lynn Birleffi worked tirelessly for thirty-five years in the industry, as a two-term member of the Wyoming House of Representatives and also as the executive director for the Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association, WLRA Education Foundation, Wyoming Travel Industry Coalition and Wyoming Retail Association. The impact that Lynn has on the tourism and hospitality industry in Wyoming is immeasurable and she is truly deserving of the “lifetime achievement” award!
Christine Hill is the Director of Revenue for Timberline Hospitalities LLC and has played a leading role in the hospitality industry in Wyoming for over fifteen years. She has served as Chairman of the Wyoming Travel Industry Coalition, currently serves as Chairman of the Natrona County Travel and Tourism Council and is also on the board of directors for the Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association.
