Upload Fall and Winter Deals to Tourism Consumer Site
The fall campaign has already launched to potential Wyoming visitors, and the winter campaign is just around the corner. It’s a good time to make sure business deals and packages uploaded to the wyomingtourism.org site for visitors planning their trips.
The wyomingtourism.org site is set up so businesses can promote their own deals and packages for free. Deals and packages continue to be highlighted throughout the tourism campaigns from the e-newsletter to social media pushes.
Be sure when uploading your deal into the site, you put the sell in your deal and tell visitors why they should stay with you. Include any price point, pictures, valid dates and contact information to give visitors a way to quickly book your deal.
For more information on building a package or deal or for account login information, please contact Lesley Rowbal, Wyoming Office of Tourism marketing specialist, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 307-777-2881.
Social Hub coming to Tourism Site
The Wyoming Office of Tourism’s social media platforms will be elevated with a new social media hub on the wyomingtourism.org website.
The hub is set to launch this fall. It will showcase WOT’s social media content through feeds embedded on the homepage.
“Visitors will now be able to see some of our great social media content upon visiting our site. We really want to get them engaged with our content so we can continue to communicate with them and showcase Wyoming in an ongoing relationship through our social media,” says Lesley Rowbal, marketing specialist for WOT who manages the consumer marketing social media platforms.
When surfing the homepage of wyomingtourism.org, users can scroll over the words “social hub.” The social feeds appear on screen enabling the user to quickly like, tweet, subscribe, join or surf all of WOT’s social media venues.
